Buying lots of Christmas presents? Clear some junk first!

If you are like most people you will be buying a lot of presents for those in your family this month. Each year at Christmas people across the country load up on new toys, games, furniture, and even appliances. But what exactly do you do with all the old stuff?
If you are going to get a new appliance, furniture, or even and bunch of new toys for the kids, you will need to first clear some space. You won’t be able to fit all of the new items alongside the things you currently have. You have several options for cleaning out the house, either before or after Christmas, when you are ready to make way for all the new items.
First, you can try to sell the things you want to get rid of. This way you also recoup some of the costs on replacing or getting new items. You can run classified ads or let friends know that you have those items for sale. If you feel it is unwanted junk or has no value you can simply call Capital Junk.
Serving the entire Ottawa area, Capital Junk will happily do all the work of picking up your unwanted junk or items left over from home or office cleanouts. Just make an appointment by calling us or booking online and we will be there. We do all the work, so you don’t have to worry about it.
Another benefit of having us remove your unwanted junk is that we take an eco-friendly approach. We will donate and recycle as much as possible, to try to reduce what is actually taken to a landfill. Plus, if you reserve online you will save $10. Contact us today so you can start clearing out the junk and making way for all the new things you will receive this Christmas!

  5. I've always found that it pays to keep several "irons in the fire." When I'm out doing salvage work I often run into things for sale that I'm not interested in purchasing.
